Enstor Supports Sulligent High School and Vernon Elementary School with Donations

SULLIGENT, Alabama – August 4, 2020 - Enstor announced today that the company has made a total of $3,000 in donations to Sulligent High School and Vernon Elementary School. The funds will be used to purchase books, AP Exam materials, medical supplies for the school nurse and snacks for students who are unable to afford them.

Enstor owns and operates the Freebird Gas Storage facility in Sulligent, Alabama. “Enstor is excited to play an active role in the communities where we live and work and support the education and well-being of the children of Alabama,” said plant manager David Merchant. Mr. Merchant presented a check to Sulligent High School Principal Thomas (“Tommy”) Chism and Vernon Elementary School Principal Tracey Walker at a brief ceremony.

“Enstor’s support, and the support of all of our donors, means a lot to us right now,” Mr. Chism said. “School systems across the South are having a rough time and this donation will go a long way. Principal Walker and I are very grateful to David, the team at the Freebird Gas Storage facility and Enstor Gas for supporting our students and their families.”
